It has a natural outdoor swimming pool. The apartments are designed in homelike style with 2 separate bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, microwave and a dishwasher. The surrounding countryside is ideal for fishing, skiing and cycling, and bikes can be rented from the apartments. Interesting museums in Bärnau include the Button Museum and the Bärnau-Tachov History Park. Der Birkholmhof is a 20-minute drive from the A93 motorway, and it is 8 km to the border with the Czech Republic. Free private parking is available on site at the apartments.
