It has a natural outdoor swimming pool. The apartments are designed in homelike style with 2 separate bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen with a coffee machine, microwave and a dishwasher. There is also flat-screen satellite TV, a DVD player and a balcony. Internet access is available on-site. The surrounding countryside is ideal for fishing, skiing and cycling, and bikes can be rented from the apartments. There is a playground and fitness centre, along with a spa area which offers a sauna for an additional fee. Within a 10-minute drive of the apartments there are several restaurants which specialise in German and Italian cuisine. Interesting museums in Bärnau include the Button Museum and the Bärnau-Tachov History Park. Der Birkholmhof is a 20-minute drive from the A93 motorway, and it is 8 km to the border with the Czech Republic. Free private parking is available on site at the apartments.
